All of them will thaw in about half an hour on the countertop. Just take out what you need and leave the rest frozen to stay fresh!

If you bought bulk fresh paste:

If you freeze your henna or jagua all in one bag, you’ll have to thaw the whole thing each time you want to use some. The problem is, each time you thaw and re-freeze it loses a bit of staining power so it’s not the best way to go. Here’s what we recommend instead:

If you have applicator bottles or cones, fill up as many as you can. Freeze them like this, and then when you want to use some just take out what you need. The rest will stay perfectly frozen and fresh!

They’ll stay freshest if you put them in a Ziploc freezer bag (or any other storage bag/container meant for freezers). Keep them in the back of the freezer where it’s coldest.

If you don’t have applicators or don’t have enough of them, here’s what you can do instead. Using plastic sandwich bags, portion out small quantities of paste into each one. Basically, the amount that would fit in a single applicator (about 1/2 oz, or 2 Tablespoons). Seal the bag by tying or taping it shut and then freeze. Now, you can still freeze them individually and then just take out what you need to fill your applicators.

To thaw, just leave on your kitchen counter for 15-30 minutes and it’s ready to use.
