Has my order shipped? When will it arrive?

All orders are packed and shipped within 2 business days, except for fresh paste which is only shipped Mondays-Wednesdays to ensure freshness upon arrival. We're proud of our super speedy packing and shipping and are usually able to get most orders out the day after you order.

Fresh paste is ONLY shipped out on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to ensure it arrives to you fresh! So, if you order on a Wednesday, that means it will ship the following Monday.

Most Priority Mail arrives 2-3 days after shipping (excluding Sundays and holidays), though the USPS does not guarantee this (refer to their disclaimer here). First class/ground shipping can take a week or more.

If you require 1-2 day shipping, especially with fresh henna paste, you must choose Express shipping during checkout. If it does not arrive by the delivery date due to USPS error, you'll receive a refund for the difference between the amount you paid and the regular priority shipping cost.

How do I track my order?

Once your order has been scheduled to ship, you'll receive an email that provides you with tracking information. If you don't receive the email in the expected time frame (see "Has my order shipped?"), please check your spam folder and ensure that info@sarahenna.com is in your address book. Please contact me if you have additional questions.

I have a problem with my order, how do I get it resolved?

Let me know within 48 hours of delivery if there has been a problem with your order - I want you to be completely satisfied! Contact me at info@sarahenna.com. Please also refer to my return policy (below) as needed.

What shipping methods are available?

Currently, all orders are shipped via the USPS: either first class, priority, or priority express. 

International Orders

Do you offer international shipping? How much does it cost?

Yes, I ship worldwide! Shipping prices are based on package weight and your location. If you find that your country is not an available option when you attempt to check out, send me a quick email and let me know where you're located and I'll set it up for you.

Standard (first class) vs. priority:

Standard shipping comes with a tracking number, but no estimated delivery date. It may take up to 3 weeks to reach certain locations. You can upgrade to priority shipping for guaranteed delivery within 6-10 days for a higher fee.

Important notes about international shipments:

Please note that international orders are usually charged import taxes, and I have no way of knowing how much you will be required to pay (each country has it's own process and pricing). If you aren't willing to pay import taxes, do not place your order with my shop. I will not refund shipping charges for orders that are returned to me from customers who refuse to pay import duties. 

I occasionally receive requests to mark an international shipment as a gift or to reduce the declared value. However, due to USA export laws, I am unable to declare artificially low customs values on orders shipped outside the USA.  I understand that other businesses are willing to alter the invoice value to minimize the import custom's charge. However, my policy is to follow USA law. Therefore, all exported shipments will use the actual order value for the customs documentation.


I live nearby, can I just pick up my order instead of paying for shipping?

If you'd like to buy certain non-perishables such as a henna kit, Suraja henna powder, or essential oils, these are stocked at Sankara Imports in beautiful downtown Bothell (map). Other items must be shipped. Packages reach most areas in one business day. I do not offer pickups from my private residence.

Return Policy

We offer a 30 day return policy on all non-perishable items*

We only sell professional-grade products that we use in our day to day business. If we don’t love it, we don’t sell it.

  1. Items must be in new, unused condition with the original packaging intact.

  2. Returns may be replaced, exchanged, or you may receive store credit for the cost of the item minus shipping and a 15% restocking fee.

  3. Please allow up to two weeks for us to process your return.

  4. You are responsible for return shipping fees, unless the return is due to our error.

  5. You must provide us with a tracking number for the returned item

  6. Pre-authorization is required for returns. Please see "How to return an item" below for more details.

* Perishable items include: henna (powder and fresh paste), essential oils, kits (these contain henna and essential oils), finishing spray, and aftercare balms.

How to return an item

Send us an email at info@sarahenna.com with the following information:

  • Your name

  • The item(s) you want to return

  • The date of your original order (if known)

  • Your preference of replacement, exchange, or refund.

We'll follow up via email with additional instructions.
